- First and foremost we want to let you know that all Bohemian Island operations are functioning as normal and your orders are shipping out on time without delays. - (Updated 1st April 2020)

Fellow Bohemians,

Times have never been so strange as now, ey?

With the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) seemingly escalating to new dangers everyday, we wanted to update you on how we’re doing things at Bohemian Island HQ to ensure the safety of our employees, customers and partners.

We know you’re concerned about coronavirus because so are we.

We’ve all got loved ones we’re worried about or can’t reach due to flight cancellations, travel bans etc. It’s a little corny but it’s times like these where we really have to pull together and look out for one another.

And it’s the small actions that we ALL can take on a daily basis which can really help fight this pandemic.

How Bohemian Island is dealing with the coronavirus COVID-19

Being based over here in Asia, the Bohemian Island team have been dealing with the outbreak for a few months. However, now that the crisis is sadly reaching our friends in other parts of the world we thought now a good time to keep you in the loop, catch up, see how you are, send over a timely elbow-bump etc.

We’ve been closely monitoring the situation since early January as Thailand was the first country outside of China to experience cases of the virus.

While numbers here have thankfully remained relatively low, Thai officials today announced 32 new cases of the infection within the kingdom so clearly Thailand isn’t completely out of the woods yet.

So what is Bohemian Island doing to stay safe?

Our team members have been having regular temperature checks before starting their shifts and anyone displaying any kinds of cold or flu-like symptoms have been asked to stay at home.

Even if somebody just has a cough it’s not worth taking the risk keeping them at work to potentially pass something onto others. If we can err on the side of caution then let’s do it.

Face masks, office dis-infections and regular hand washing have also been commonplace at BI HQ, as well as asking everybody to generally keep their work stations as clean and tidy as possible.

It’s been a little odd for everyone to be honest. Taking these precautions every day and going the extra mile when everyone is frankly feeling fit, healthy and ready to make stupidly comfy pants does seem at times a little OTT at times.

But it really isn’t. The little things make the biggest differences.

In terms of our orders and shipments, nothing has changed. Post offices are still open and our shipments are heading out as normal. There have been no shipment delays reported and there haven't been cancellations of cargo or goods flights either. So we aren't expecting any issues moving forward and you can expect your harem pants to arrive promptly as usual.

We will of course let you know if that situation changes.

We’re fighting this thing as a planet. Covid-19 doesn’t discriminate against races, religions, genders, skin tones or sexual preferences. We’re all in this together and we can all get ourselves out of it by working together.

Please get in touch with us if you have any questions or concerns about anything discussed here, or anything in general.

Stay calm and safe x

It’s getting a bit scary over here now. People panic buying and leaving supermarkets empty! The elderly will be most at risk yet without essential supplies!
